Welcome to the Radiobende

The Radiobende is an online radio station for people who want to make radio and listen to it. No fixed formats, no imposed tone, and no central voice deciding how it should sound.

The station is made by, for, and with a band of makers who care about music, radio, and conversations that actually go somewhere. Sometimes sharp, sometimes light, sometimes messy — but always their own.

The Radiobende is a platform for radio. Makers take responsibility for what they create and stand behind their sound.

How do we do that?

The Radiobende is about making.

We make, among other things:

• talk shows
• music programmes
• podcasts

Each maker is responsible for their own programme. What you make, how it sounds, and how often you are on air differs per show — and that is exactly the point.

Not everything has to be the same. It does have to be about something.

The Radiobende presents… various shows and makers. Some programmes run for a longer time, others are temporary, experimental, or arise spontaneously.
